The extreme hatred that now exists between the two peoples did not exist in 1999. Guys, that hatred has existed for thousands of years, not a few decades. The area known today as Israel has been back and forth between the Jews and the Palestinians since before the Jews became slaves in Egypt about 4000 years ago. This is a conflict that will likely not be resolved in our lifetimes or the next 1000 years...most certainly not before Nasdaq 5000.
