Sarmad, Pardon my french but what the f... is the US to do. Job #1 is to protect our citizens. We dont have the resources to make the world perfect. Afghanistan would not have been in the crosshairs if their Taliband rulers hadnt allied themselves with el quaida. And please dont tell me the US is responsible for el quaida because we supported them against the soviets. Obviously if we had know the outcome we wouldnt have done it. Its like baseball a good hitter bats 300 or does a good job 30% of the time. There will be more mistakes. Bottom line is that each nation must make sure they dont end up being ruled by Thugs(saddam(, religous fanatics(iran), medieval princes(saudis) and so on. And i know that aint easy for the powerless to achieve. Its a daunting task. Mike
