FWIW, I think the only Neanderthal in the piece is TP. I said even as a chastised jla that I respect and often agree with his political views. I just think the burden is on him when he wants to squash somebody's speech, and he seemed to hold the "truth" to be self-evident while the rest of us didn't remember seeing enough there to get out the duct tape.

BTW, with the possible exception of parts of tomorrow, I will be offline until next Tuesday in all likelihood. Doesn't mean I'm a rat deserting a sinking ship. I may be a rat, but I don't view the ship as sinking.
