"You should apply for work and you would see what I mean"

What a dunderhead Tiger. I am in sales, and I apply for work every time I make a sales call. I also have contemplated switching companies a few times and gone through numerous job interviews. More times than not I have gotten an offer. My belief is that it is because I am relatively self confident and know what I am talking about for the most part when I am interviewing. And I will say this. I am only average to slightly above average at what I do. I know my business, I am honest, and I service my customers well. If you do that people will want to do business with you. There are real pros (usually more motivated than me, and sometimes a bit unscrupulous) that make 3 to 10 times what I do, and I do alright. I know woman and black people and people with connections and people without that do far better than me financially.

As I said before, your belief that you can't do something becuase you aren't "connected" only holds yourself down and the people that believe you belittling and limiting message. It is pure hogwash, and each post you put up convinces me more. I am starting to think it is pretty funny actually. I think there is a decent chance you are actually paid to propogate this message. You seem to smart to actually believe it.
