MONTREAL -(Dow Jones)- Birim Goldfields Inc. (Toronto:BGI.TO - News) named C. Thomas Ogryzlo chairman. A company spokesman said Ogryzlo replaces Denis Simoneau, who remains president. In a press release, the mining company said Ogryzlo has more than 30 years of experience in the mining industry in financing, exploration and development, operating, engineering and construction. The company noted that Peter Bojtos, Raymond Desormeaux, Lewis V. Lawrick, C. Thomas Ogryzlo, Jean Rainville and Denis Simoneau were re-elected as directors at its Aug. 21 meeting.
