At first I thought you meant Albie Pearson, not Jimmy Piersall, but then I looked it up & Piersall did end his career there. IF the season ends abruptly and the strike settles around October, they may still hold playoffs (I don't recall which strike year they did this in, but this happened once I believe...had to get that post-season revenue on the books, of course). Your Angels might yet be the wild card. You must remember Buddy Blattner, no? One of the great ones.
