Well, Duh! Of course it has but it's not good news. Look at the next paragraph. "Global monthly IC shipments reached 30 billion units in June this year, achieving 90% of the levels during the market peak in October 2000."

Unit shipments are 90% of peak but revs and earnings are in the gutter. Inventory is measured in $$ and ASPs are down due to massive overcapacity. If inventory were measured in units, I wonder how much higher they would be now than for the same Oct 2000 comparison period.
