Janice, Janice, Janice. Don't be a nincompoop. When the Y2K stocks get as high as they're gonna go, then they're overblown. You would be a raving idiot not to sell them. Then buy them back when they are underblown, bludgeoned into naught but a stinking pool of liquid putrescence, reeking roadkill on the information byway, and hold them until Y3K. Same problem will show up again. Only an idiot would "buy and hold" a company that only has a market every thousand years.
