Yes. that has always been my position. The irony is that people of great timidity may find the Internet a great blessing, inasmuch as they can interact here with a wide range of personalities, while having numerous protections and escapes from bullying or harassment, beginning with their anonymity. However, even here, timorous people need to learn some minimal street smarts so as not to place themselves in a vulnerable position.
