LOL!

We haven't had an X-86 server that wasn't maxed out on conventional ram for 5 years. In server land, IMO, Ram is lots more important than CPU sockets.

I'll take the power on the desktop,as opposed to in the servers, anytime(At least in a development environment). Give the developers room and pretty soon you're surprised at how creative they get at avoiding the servers(With all that admin overhead) completely.

But, we'll see what Mr. Market has to say on the subject.
