Yes, excellent article What has not been recognized, in other words, is the extent to which Saddam's possession of weapons of mass destruction has already changed the power equation in the Middle East — to the point where the American military itself is reluctant to take on Iraq Just imagine how many options we will have left after Saddam gets nukes! It's strange, though, to think that the brass is really hesitating over Saddam's chemical weapons. Israeli Chief of Staff Ya'alon just said rather pointedly that Saddam's WMDs are not keeping him up at night. However, Saddam would have to use SCUDs to get them to Israel, unless he smuggles them to the Palestinians, and the Israelis can intercept both the SCUDs and the Pals to a large extent.
