I finally got my order (to buy back the 99LEAPS I sold yesterday) executed 10 minutes before the bell.

You were right--the option MMs sat on their hands and bet on a quick recovery of commons. The call options (especially the out-of-the-money variey) didn't fall as much as they might have. (I am glad this technique is being picked up by others and proves profitable).
