Local Pakistani election officials on Friday said to have rejected former prime minister Benazir Bhutto's nomination to stand in October elections as she had been convicted of failing to answer corruption charges, sources reported. "She's been convicted by an accountability court. She's not qualified to contest elections," the local returning officer in the southern town of Ratto Dero said during announcing the decision.
