I can't imagine how college faculty could be other than overwhelmingly lefty, except at religious colleges, of course, and perhaps business schools. It's no different from nursing being overwhelmingly female. I don't know how anyone could be surprised. And I don't see any way of "correcting" it short of an affirmative action program. I suppose academia might attract libertarians. I noticed the study, unlike some posters, classified libertarians as right.
