Were any of the benchmarks listed ones that require/allow multiple threads. Most benchmarks are single thread ones, and thus multithreading at best would run at 0% speed gain if tehre is no overhead.

This is another area where new benchmarks will be required (much to the frowns of the AMD crowd).

Potentially they could go after Apple's photoshop market with photoshop filter benchmarks. Those would definitely benefit from multithreading.
