That this isn't a "world" of a certain sort (in which, for particular stretches of time, some of us, for personal, life-logic reasons, spent most of our "social life"- time) is a pedestrian shibboleth designed to allow you to do certain things you like to do here. I think you begin with a little thing in your id and build rationalizations to allow you to do them. I think that thing in your id isn't so little, sometimes.
