What do you think on the question of US troops in Canada, Thomas .... i have no objection to them training here, as our allies, or trucking weapons or whatever through to Alaska, subject to sensible safety precautions ... but operations no, not ever under foreseeable circumstances .... should there come a massed invasion that would warrant a rethink on that position, the prime ministre has the War Measures act with which he can invite allies with the stroke of a pen ..... obviously if the liechtensteiners or whoever invaded Oregon and the US couldn't withstand the assault you would invite us in, we would expect this and be ready to go, you would have nothing to fear from us .... but the other way around, with US troops on our soil, this is way different, sets a scarey precedent .... too much history of Kissingers, Reagans, Poinsetts, Westmorelands, Polks, etc, and not enough genuine Uncle Sam ... can you understand this? |
