You understand it perfectly, but you prefer to twist it to your own mind.
As for public lynchings, you know better than that. However, some people have been attacked unjustly because of their ethnic attributes, and it's not unreasonable to believe that pirates and outlaws out there could attack you. Just because I'm warning you doesn't mean that I think you should be persecuted. There is entirely too much of that, and I think you are participating in it by twisting sincere beliefs around into something ugly that fits your preconceived notions of what I'm like and what others on this discussion are like.
I agree with you that the the lack of freedom to express ideas that is the most dangerous of all. However, discussing ideas doesn't mean scouring the globe for lies, innuendo, half-truths, and conspiracies and pawning them on the rest of us as fact. That's what you and the others I listed are doing. You are not discussing ideas, you are trying to destroy perfectly fine ones. Go to it, if that's your bag, but don't expect to get off without a challenge from me.
