I didn't know there's a difference between the black and gray cloud. I'm assuming the black cloud was the first, during the fall of the towers?

I just heard from someone here in my town that their son, who was sleeping late that morning next to an open window in his apartment in Queens, awoke to find bits of twisted aluminum on his bed. From the towers.

No wonder there are thousands of people still suffering in NYC.

I still have your friend's diary . It was an incredible thing to read. I'm thinking of spending the 11th with the television turned off, starting the day with her diary, and try to make it a day of private rememberance.
