I agree with the basic premise. Higher Ed. has
been doing this type of thing for years. HOWEVER,
most of higher ed. has not used ORCL. There are,
several applications (student registration, Student
information services, some billing receivables,
accounts payable, and other fiscal operations) that
ORCL could provide a data base mgt. system for. BUT
ORCL is a very expensive product. It does come
bundled in with SCT's line of products (private
company) but is still under development, ie, I have
not heard of any "final" THIS IS IT, report of
true success. Can you spell "CASH STRAPPED", and
thank the good Lord I've retired from all of this.
BTW, ORCL is an excellent product!
Another BTW, candles and other indicators are lousy.
Hope to get more on the cheap, wait 3 years and sell.
That's the only reason I own some stock in the company.
