Donnie: Hope you are hanging in there.
My letter to a friend( G,,,,) who is into Reits.
What a nice quiet weekend with no market. It has actually cooled off
here to less than 70 sometimes, at night.
I have reshuffled the living room and moved computer into a spare
bedroom. Lots of wires on them oldl computers.
Have got my burned-out riding mower nearly reassembled after $500 in
parts. Perhaps tomorrow will
get engine started and see how it moves. Still need a gas tank and
dashboard as they were made of plastic and just kind of disappeared in
smoke as did the plastic engine and tranny cooling fans.
You should do well with dividends. I need to make more (or do I)?
I will probably go with less than 10 stocks and accumulate them at low
prices. Maybe ally, tsco, nwre, brli, bprx, dell, and geacf.
The problem here is only that of paying too much for my "favorite
stocks" that I think will do well
but others do not see them in the same light so I have to allow for the
fact they will drift down for a while
before positive factors kick in.
Trading has gone OK, buying puts and calls, so that provides
excitement and a chance to win or lose fast bucks.
Not to mislead anyone, I did not make money last week.
I have read all the news on Marketwatch for past several years which
is pretty useless as they never say to sell. Watch the oils go up and
down, defense go up and down, airlines go up and down, retailers go up
and down- in fact most everything goes up and down except techs which
only go down..
Have a good holiday
