There are two problems with this story.

1. We shall never know it's truth. The counter argument to the claims in the story is that, because of the intense interest of the Kurds in undermining Saddam, the story is fictional. I recall putting it in some sort of mental brackets after reading it at the time. Nothing has been said since then to pull it out of the brackets.

2. The story is not about 9-11 but rather about Saddam's possible attack on US facilities in the ME. Since those attacks were ongoing during the 90s, this story makes more sense as one part of that campaign than a part of 9-11. Do you know something that connects it to 9-11?

As to the truth of the story, you make a statement that cannot be contradicted, at least by me or anyone else who reads this forum, i.e., "we" will never know its truth. That is self-evident. But does it mean that others may know things "we" don't that corroborate it?

I apologize for using your rhetorical trick on you, but you apparently want to hold the veracity of the information to a standard that I obviously cannot provide.

It doesn't mean that the information is untrue or true. I suspect that others who do not participate in these limited forums have a much better idea of the information's reliability.

As to the story not being about 9/11--so? If it is true, can be corroborated. etc., the fact that it doesn't directly implicate Saddam in 9/11 is utterly irrelevant. A cassus belli would clearly exist.
