The Baylor Bears - Cal Bears game preview from last week's NYTimes: Although California is returning 15 starters from a year ago, it is a group that finished the season at a woeful 1-10. A year's worth of experience should help, as should the change at head coach, but this is a team that still has a hill to climb. Baylor, on the other hand, has been steadily climbing that hill, increasing its win total in each of the past two seasons.
