Lee, I just found this thread and appreciate your input. Have questions about how managing multiple accounts works. The idea of having an alternative when you are trying to buy sounds great. But what about selling? You cannot sell what's logged with ETrade from DATEK can you? Also, if DATEK is best, why do you mess with the others? Is there a downtime problem with DATEK too, or does ETrade have features which are lacking in the others? (I am in ETrade and haven't had a transaction bungled but have had significant logon problems. Some of the other problems reported here are frightening.)
