well, i like the puplava thesis... comodities will lead.. and the crb certainly supports that at the moment... with obvious pullbacks along the way... crawford talked comodities on his thread nearly a year ago and it was difficult to conceive a thesis during that time.... but all things considered as they keep evolving, i'm starting to agree that back to basics for the next 5 to 10 years may be the best possible theme... not just some panic gold/last resort approach. i.e. finally some fundi's I can live with. now that i have a reason for such madness, i'm going to be spending time on it. so yes... not bleak, oblique. depending upon place and time.
