This discussion will just go nowhere that's interesting to either of us.

That's very polite of you, but it's actually quite interesting to me - for reasons which are entirely selfish. Assume that you are the leader of the most powerful country on earth, and that certain groups of people are attempting to destroy the city in which you and your wife live, as they attempt to kill you both, and all your business associates.

Would your first priority to be to destroy these people and everyone associated with them, or would your first priority be to refight a battle your father lost, or enrich your friends?
