Rauscher Pierce makes PageMart a "focus buy" (as per Briefing.com on 7/17/97 - 3:00pm ET) and PMWI starts to move on Friday, 7/18: Pagemart Wireless Inc. (PMWI) - Rauscher Pierce upgrades issue to "focus buy" from "market outperform," citing dramatically increased cash flow visibility via distribution deals with Tandy and 7-Eleven. Expects company to sell 875,000 pagers in 1998... Got some PMWI in early a.m. Friday before the big market selloff got out of hand (Dow ended at -130 and Nasdaq at -20), and like a charm, PMWI gained 3/8 to finish at 8 7/8. I see good things ahead for it this week -- and the market as well, I hope, especially with IBM reporting earnings Monday. Ed
