When i asked for votes against management you were not supportive. Yet you make an unfair attack about Xoma's efforts to develop BPI. It is not as if Xoma had done nothing. Far from it Xoma made an agreement with Allergan, Xoma ran the meningococcemia trials. The trauma trial, Xoma and BAX made a 10 year multi indication agreement just for Neuprex, and a Crohn's trial is in progress. And supposedly at this time Xoma continues working with Joslin.

The trauma trial was halted not because BPI did not work but because the placebo group did not get as sick as prior data indicated they would. Meningococcemia trial encountered median delays of 6 hours before Neuprex was provided. One can blame Xoma or the state of the U.K. health system.

So why do I complain about management if I think they are so good! No information about what is going on. Crohn's trial expanded. By how much? Working with Joslin as we speak or was that last years story? The great Xoma/Bax agreement, why not provide more details. Mycogen dropped, why?

But I don't for a second think they are not trying to move bpi forward within the limits of their economic resources.
