For those who believe this crap about the US going to war with Iraq, try to think of the times the US has gone to war unilaterally, without provocation, and without any world backing.

Uh, I can think of Grenada and Panama, but nothing else.

Iraq is not Grenada.

This is all political, and we are pawns in the process by doing what Carl Rove wants us to do - focus on war.

The administration is going to see this strategy backfire, and they will lose seats this fall just like every other incumbent has in mid-term elections. What a crock this all is.

Heck, our Vice President (or acting President) wants war, our Sec of State doesn't want it. If we go to war, the Sec of State will most likely resign.

That'll look real good to the American people and the world at large.

The people in the US govt who want war either dodged the military or defended the oil fields in Texas from tumbleweeds. The administration people who have been in conflict do not want this war.

Focus on war, and be a pawn. Few are focusing on solutions to anything right now. It's funny that that's what often times gets voters involved and gets people voted out of office.

Anyway, I think Augie was sleep deprived or something, and I think he's going to make good here.
