Iraq's last known use of chemical weapons was 14 years ago, against the Kurds. Its use against Iranians is generally not cited, because then, Iraq was on our side.

If we're basing current foreign policy decisions on things that occurred that long ago, I suppose our enemies might claim the right to attack us based on the army's use of LSD on our own people.
