My criteria was met in DEC, JAN, FEB, MAR. If you remember, we had just had "drastic price moves". My plan is for LTB&H investors, like myself. I thought that prices were ahead of themselves earlier in the year, but I couldn't be absolutely sure. I sold out of the money from what I thought was already high. The market gets ahead of itself from time to time. When it gets to peak valuations for semi-equips, I sell. For semis without strong cyclical behavior and for semi-equips below peak valuations, I hope to sell covered calls.

The "smaller returns more often" approach seems to be even more susceptible to "drastic price moves", but, please, post your specific ideas. I know you have done well with a few already.
