mike Ohio-bred Harlan's Holiday completed the distance in the slop in 1:51, a full four seconds over the track record set by Selari Spirit in 1974. He paid $4 to win, $2.80 to place and $5.60 to show. Essence of Dubai was worth $3.80 and $17.00. Make the Bend paid $27.20 to show.
I use to do quite well at our local dog track just buying show tickets on any dog with 0 bet at the last second to show.
