When the going gets tough, the tough ask E.C. for help.
(or)
After lighting, can that Sterling Silver Cloud Lining be magnetic?
.
But really,
this is an ask o49r,
but since she will not help Gata Bill
WAIT"

"Whether we have a major silver scandal out there
is still not for certain, but it certainly bears checking out."

So, there we have it! Massive quantities of "silver"
that is NOT SILVER in the stores.
It must be tons and tons all across the country.
This is unbelievable!
... vendors insisted the chains were silver when the magnetic
properties were staring them right in the face!
What a massive fraud!
Now we know what is supplying the 110 Million silver deficit,
steel! What a huge scandal!
Where are the regulators...
Send the army out with magnets, let's test the world!
(and)
Sunday 9/1/2002:
They are still selling the magnetic silver...
(also)
I bought a $5.00 magnetic "sterling silver" bracelet...
(with)
If a magnet sticks, you know you do NOT have Sterling.
You have Stainless Steel.
But *not-sticking* is no guarantee that a piece will be Sterling.
Lots of silver-plate is over nickel/brass which is not magnetic...
(not to mention, but i will)
Sterling Silver is silver with a small amount of copper.
Pure silver, like pure gold, is too soft to stay in its form,
so it is combined with copper to form sterling silver.
... is the combination of 92.5 percent pure silver
and 7.5 percent copper, and is stamped "92.5" or "925".
... test for sterling silver is to put a magnet near it.
If the magnet sticks, the piece cannot be sterling,
although it could be silver-plated nickel or brass.
(did i just read)
If the magnet sticks... could be silver-plated nickel or brass.
(???)
[END.]
And i thought Stainless Steel was non-magnetic.
o well, back to gravity and up & down & central.
