Re: On my desktop, I have 2 22" monitors set to 2048 by 1536 extended desktop

Have you tried a dual head card? I have a Matrox G550 which gives me 3200x1200 spread across my two Samsung 210Ts.

By extended desktop, do you mean a virtual screen that's larger than the physical screen? I'm not as comfortable with that configuration, but I know some people who like it.

On another note, we're hitting the 2gig to 3gig effective limit of 32-bit processors like PIII, P4, Athlon, etc. (windows limits apps to 2gig of memory and hardware addresses lock up 1/2 gig to one gig of physical addresses - advanced server can use 3 gig, but isn't appropriate for a workstation). Do you think there's a snowball's chance in hell that Dell will pick up Athlon-64 for workstations? How about a snowflake's?
