Who is my hero, pray tell? Palestinians indeed have been crushed and Sharon does now have a free hand. The Palestinians leaders who came out against terrorism did so on moral grounds--a first. Hamas and Al Aksa have been weakened with targeted assassinations. Their policy is bankrupt. Palestinians are not dumb and will reconsider. I always wondered why they didnt adopt civil rights tactics. It would work against the Israelis on the west bank big time especially if israeli army met hand-holders with force. Arab dwellers in the west bank perhaps dont deserve freedom given the appalling way in which they have acted but in order for peace to come, they must control their destiny. They must also swear not to go after Israel and engage in future terrorism at the same time and this oath must be seen as credible. mike
