Assume the average trading volume on the Nasdaq is 500 Million shares per day. Say the market traded at that volume for one year...never stopping for weekends or holidays. Say you had $1 for each and every share traded during that year. You could buy Coke. A company whose revenues actually decreased during the second quarter. Golly, what a bargain!
