I have enough personal experience to be able to conclude that this guy is lying. What he's writing just isn't anybody else's experience - even overclockers, who switch heatsinks continuously, raise the voltage and raise the clock speed do better than he claims.

Any "home brewed" system can be mis-configured, seagate and WD drives often have trouble on the same IDE channel, there are a lot of bad DIMMs floating around out there, sometimes the wrong drivers are shipped with hardware, or they're just missing.

But once a system is stable, be it Intel or AMD, it generally stays stable, unless someone mucks around with windows, in which case any system can be made to be unstable.

Comments like the one you posted make it clear that this guy is lying for Intel.
