I have always thought those memorials were very touching. I've seen a lot of them in the open country on the way to the Sierras. As long as any denomination can put one up, I don't see the problem with them, save for the safety issue. If those things are going to cause more accidents, then they are not a good thing. It all hinges on safety for me.
