Do you not think that fundamental Islamics enjoy watching the silly Americans dithering over responsibility and the endless debate over should we-shoudln't we take revenge, what to do, handwringing?

Of course, being adherents of a free democratic system we understand that all this is, at least if it could be kept internal, healthy. But that doesn't mean it isn't also comforting to the fundamentalist Islamics.
