There are already Canadian AF troops at NORAD in Colorado. Have been for a long time. Air defense of the North American continent is a coordinated US-Canadian effort.

And Bush is out of his friggin' gourd if he tries to go it alone. Saddam does not have ICBMs. He still might get a nuke into the US or Canada other ways... and get blown off the map for it (assuming we can prove who did it.) Other MWD are just local threats, Israel being the obvious target. If he goes after it or any other ME nation, we have cause for intervention and can do it with international backing. And this time I think the mandate will say, "Take him out."
