snook, That is a nice sum for a show bet. I've never seen a zero pool, but I don't bet the bowwows, either. A lot of folks at the track swear by them during simulcast. One of my friends told me to bet #7 every race and to humor her, I bet it the next race. The 7 came in. That number won at 3 different tracks. I thought she was on to something. But, since she showed up Sunday with no cash, I guess the 7s must have tapped out. <g>
