I guess I'm a cynic.

I see so many people showing up at these make-shift memorials to leave their flowers and there's not a tear in their eyes. Their hair is impeccably coifed, the outfit is perfectly matched and they are placing their flowers at the site just as the camera is rolling. IMO, anybody who is truly shattered by the loss of a life would be paying less attention to the media and more attention to this tragic memorial.

And, please leave those munchkins at home! They need to be children for as long as they can. If it's a tragedy that effects them personally, they will be exposed to the pain. IMO, they don't need to be exposed to someone else's pain. They are still babies!

But, as I said, I'm a cynic!
