Now that the summer rally is in the bag I think it's fair to say we mentioned it here first. You certainly didn't hear anything about it from BB even when it was in progress. What's that all about? I'm sure the QQQ holders would like any chance they can get at reducing their loss. In fact, by Brinker's continued silence, one can only assume that he chose to believe that no rally would occur. Of course, we can now say that this too was bad advice. Bob doesn't seem to be doing his followers much good by completely missing all the CTR's in this bear market. All he can do is play the avoidance game. Well, some listeners are too smart to fall for that little ruse. How will this bolster confidence that the great Brinker model will pick out a cyclical bull? To follow Bob's logic, a cyclical bull must begin with a CTR and if he can't see the CTR coming then what chance does he have on the larger trend? And even though, technically, there was no recommendation here to buy the summer rally, we can follow Brinker's lead and exaggerate a bit for the sake of ego. Hopeful that that no one will parse the record for vagueness.
