In WASHINGTON story headlined "PeopleSoft CEO to sell $2.6 mln worth of shares please read in second paragraph "... in May 2002," instead of "... in 1990." (Corrects when stock was acquired) A corrected version follows:

WASHINGTON, Sept 3 (Reuters) - PeopleSoft Inc.'s (NasdaqNM:PSFT - News) Chief Executive Craig Conway plans to sell 125,000 shares of the company worth about $2.6 million, according to a regulatory filing made on Tuesday.

Conway acquired the shares through an employee stock option plan in May 2002, according to the Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
