by 2005 the world image of USA will be fully tarnished
we are slowly acquiring a much deserved reputation
too much influence peddling,
organized crime,
overt crime,
conflict of interest,
distorted data reporting,
selfish politicians,
deceptive corporate leaders,
white collar theft of lower & middle class wealth,
control of press/ media coverage,
dominant special interest groups,
financial dollar-based hegemony,
and more

but what bothers me the most is the growing foreign perception stated already by several people with whom I have had contact, that ...

DISHONESTY IS BECOMING ENGRAINED THROUGHOUT ALL OF AMERICAN INSTITUTIONS

I expect the positive image of USA to experience a 180 degree turn
our world influence has become a problem
we have exported our broken credit-based economic system, our broken fractional banking system, and encouraged little export-based economies to recycle (via blackmail for remaining open) capital into our TBonds

I expect this all to end in time
I hate being so pessimistic
but we are in for one hell of an ugly effing decade

the dollar will see a freefall before summer 2004
we do not have the leadership strength to admit what the problem is
instead, our missteps in reacting to the deflationay credit crunch debt collapse will exacerbate the current problems
we will not see an economic recovery for some time
not until we recognize properly what the problem is
so far blame has gone to all kinds of peripheral causes
and very little to actual causes
so the problem will continue to grow

over and out, Jim (roaming west Boston)
