General public expects DOW below 5000; NASDAQ at 1000. Really? I don't know ANYONE (in the general public) who thinks that. I certainly don't. I don't even think 7000 is likely for the DOW. If we were in a recession that was getting worse I might consider the idea but the economy is still growing albeit more slowly. That's a lot of "sky is falling" FUD put out by the shorts and hedge funds for the most part.
