There are all sorts of imperialism. Britain's, for example, was relatively benign, while Belgium relentlessly exploited the Congo. Even granted that crusading conquest is imperialistic, and not adequately justified, there is still a big difference between taking over a country to install democratic institutions and taking it over for the purpose of erecting a system of racial subordination that places inferior nations at the service of the nation of the master race. You know the difference,of course, but you are ignoring it in this context, or you would not automatically equate what jla said with the Axis powers........
