Hi G,

0.0 is for 36 months then 2.9 and 3.9 for 03's.

0.0 on more models with left over 02's.

Price increases over the last year, combined with low rates makes the 0.0 profitable.

It forces GMAC to obtain huge market share - which they like.

O.0% is great for the future sales of GM's product.I appraised used cars over Labor Day (Gave my used car manager a break).Of all the cars I took in trade they were 2000's, where smart buyers took advantage of low apr loans back then. They all had equity ,good jobs and are enjoying driving clean low mileage vehicles in the warranty. They're working hard and enjoying the low rates with a fun lifestyle.

Its a pretty good story.

What I fear in the future, is when the economy gets up and going and rates go up - many people will be spoiled having tasted free money. It could well pent up the market as they keep their older car with free money loans.

So it doesn't borrow from tomorrow until the rules change??

To be honest if I knew the final answer - I'd be up on the market too!gg

Bob
