Hiya, CJ; I expect the DOW to bottom out this month or early next....but not THAT low! HD and LOW don't react to every trickle of news like some of the more thinly traded stocks. They only seem to move on upgrades, downgrades, guidance, earnings, and split announcements. With none of the above occurring I expect them to spend the next couple of months moving in tandem, with one's success or failure moving the other one along with it. If, however, one of the brokers that is pushing LOW downgrades HD, you can bet that one of HD's brokers will downgrade LOW within 24 hours (Just to screw us up!). It's enough to drive you to stop drinking! JMHO cb P.S. - You be sure to tell Pat that ol' Country Bob says "Hey!"!
