Bill: In WW2, Japan decided to go for biological weapons, believing that nuclear weapons were not needed and would cost too much and take too long to develop. They focused on bubonic plague -- they had "great results". They used infected flees, exploded by the first "smart bombs" to deliver the plague. The whole project was a "marvelous success". They knew how well it would work because they tested it thoroughly -- in China. Millions died horrible deaths -- another horrible war. After the war, what do you think happened to the "genius" who promoted, organized and oversaw this slaughter? Did he die? Did he kill himself? Do he run and hide? Was he tried and imprisoned for his horrible acts by the Americans? No -- none of the above. We put him on the payroll -- he came to work for us. We decided he was a "valuable asset" and there would be no point in laying blame for the millions he killed (they were, after all, Chinese). Don't talk about America's principled stands Bill unless you know what you are talking about.
